Our goal is to design, develop, and publish quality Do-it-Yourself Plans and Self Sufficient Knowledge.
We have been designing and building a wide variety of products for ourselves for more than two and a half decades. "DIY" just comes naturally and we would like to share this with you.
It is extremely frustrating searching and finding quality how to plans, we know we've done it. There always seems to be something lacking with most plans out there, or the presentation is just plain horrible. We aim to correct this problem and publish plans that we would like to buy if we were looking. If your trying to build something whether it be that isolated cabin in the woods, or a homemade compost tumbler, you shouldn't have to search for hours on end to find decent information. We intend to fill this void.

DIY Experience
There are no nerd's here just sitting behind a computer pumping out plans that we've never built. We'll leave that to "others" online. Experience is important and does make a difference. Here is a small list of our experience and skills:
- Architectural Drafting, blueprints, terrain mapping
- Surveying and septic design
- Welding, fabrication, repair
- Diesel mechanic, auto mechanic, auto body
- Developer, builder, excavating
- Electrical, plumbing, cabling, telephone
- Farming, gardening, outdoor survival & self reliance
- Raising horses, cattle, pigs, chickens, etc..
- The list is long and there is much more....
Goals and Future
Our Goal is simple, publish and deliver quality how to plans and self sufficient knowledge, period! We believe everyone should be capable of doing things for themselves, but understand not everyone has the knowledge or skills to do that. Our plans fill that void and empower you with the knowledge to do it yourself, not just for the savings, but for the satisfaction and power of knowledge.
We have a tendency to be perfectionists, so you will never find any "hack job" methods used in any of our plans. Shortcuts? Yes, cost saving techniques? Yes, but we do not publish "backyard mechanic" plans by any means.
The Future looks bright and limitless. Our vision is to publish literally thousands of the highest quality affordable plans available anywhere. DIY (do-it-yourself) is our passion, it's what we love to do. Sharing this knowledge with you has been a dream for many years. Here is just a few of our future goals:
- To publish one or two how to plans a week
- Hire additional staffing for our R&D shop
- Hire a full time web designer/webmaster
- Offer CD's, DVD's, Hardcopy plans, and other type media
- Build a full production shop to produce kits for many of our plans
- And this is just the beginning!
